Facing Monsters by Andrew Semark is a 140-page, high-quality hardcover book based on the feature documentary film Facing Monsters.
The book is a combination of photography shot on location for the film as well as other unseen surf trips with Kerby Brown over the last decade. It also incorporates words from some of the film's top collaborators.
Kerby Brown is a West Australian madman known worldwide for surfing death-defying waves. His smooth style is often at odds with the mutant lumps of ocean he rides, while his humble demeanour contrasts with his full-tilt approach in the water. Kerby currently lives in deep south WA with his family.
10% of book profits are donated to the charity Lifeline.

All Australian orders over $75.00 will be shipped free of charge. Orders under $75.00 will incur a $14 flat rate fee.

Please consider your delivery address and ensure that the correct details have been entered at checkout. All orders will be left at the delivery address without signature. If you do not wish to have your parcel left, or have any special requirements please email customer service cs@leisurecollective.com.au with your request.
Creatures of Leisure does not deliver to PO Boxes. We reserve the right to choose the appropriate carrier for your order, depending on the size of the parcel, and the location to be shipped. We endeavour to process all orders within the next business day, however please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched.
Creatures of Leisure will take all reasonable care to appropriately pack all orders, but will not be liable or responsible for any damaged goods or missing orders lost in transit.
Once your order has been dispatched you will be sent tracking advice to check on the status of your order, via email or SMS. Any damaged or lost orders will be subject to an investigation with our carriers. This investigation can take up to 10 days. After that time we will be able to take further action into the location of your order.
Please allow the following times for delivery from dispatch:
- Small packages (leg ropes, traction/grip, surf essentials, etc) = 2-5 business days.
- Large packages (boardcovers) = up to 10 business days.
Creatures of Leisure reserves the right to cancel an order if it cannot supply the goods within the order. You will be contacted directly in the event of this occurring.
